A representative of Iraqi Almortaqa Foundation for Human Development / Basra Branch participated in training a group of Al-Husoona clan members in the city of Al-Shuaiba on some topics of conflict resolution on 14/8/2009, the training was in collaboration with the coordinator and former trainer of Mercy Corps in Basra in addition to Mr. Naim, Al-Husoona clan sheikh, who set up the place and invited his clan members. It is worth mentioning that the majority of trainees were from ordinary people with low-cultural level. This course was followed by a similar one on 15/8/2009 in Basra province\ Al-Ushar city, with the same staff, who trained at the course that preceded it, but it has been dealt with high educated governmental officials, where the course was somehow different commensurate with their cultural level. The participants expressed their admiration for the course material and asked to repeat such courses in the future
