Productive Women

The basic goal of establishing the Small & Medium Projects Dept. from the beginning was to popularize the culture and concept of small and medium project in society and its importance in raising the living and economic levels of the community and it is one of the effective reasons to eliminate unemployment through training and rehabilitation programs and courses for the unemployed, and in order to be in line with this objective and taking it forward, we dedicated the Project of Business Women.

The idea of the project came as a result of the urgent need of widows and women with low-income to provide a stable living source for them, especially that they suffer from deteriorating psychological and financial conditions, as the recent years have led to increasing numbers of widows largely on one hand, increasing reliance on women to support their families on the other hand either fearing on the breadwinner whether be (husband, brother or son) or being forced to migrate and leave the country and ended up on the shoulders of women the burden of family support, thus it was should to rehabilitate and train them on techniques that help raise their competencies through an integrated project ensures for them a successful and profitable management for any small investment project with simple potentials and follows up them for two years to ensure the success of their businesses.

This project targets primarily widows, divorced women and women with low-income who became a heavy burden on society, and raises the living level for this group and helps them overcome the deteriorating situation which reflects negatively on their social situations and the scope of their success in conducting their children, we dedicate this project under the slogan…

Project Goals:

Overall goal:  Rehabilitating and training widows on skills of small project management and on certain craft skills.

Sub-Goals:

1.     Raising the economic level of widows.

2.     Reducing rate of unemployment among widows.

3.     Making widows depend on themselves in supporting their families.

4.     Releasing woman from depending on the breadwinner to fulfill her financial needs.

5.     Expanding her social relations.

6.     Educating society to understand the need to care for widows.
