Towards 100 Typical in Planning Organizations

Due to the success of Iraqi Almortaqa Foundation in its managing systems and considering it as one of the leading foundations locally and through its previous projects in training and rehabilitating personnel capable to advance the Iraqi society, Almortaqa has intended to implement the project "Towards 100 Typical in planning Organizations" which is considered one of the most important institutional work elements in accordance with standard criteria in evaluating NGOs to delivering them to the top of the effective international organizations and to empowering Iraqi NGOs to be capable of playing a greater role and realizing effective partnerships among the government, civil society, and the private sector. Justifications:
1. Iraqi non-governmental organizations do not have the sound institutional pillars.
2. The poor performance of organizations' managers.
3. Poor management skills of many of our non-governmental organizations.
4. These organizations do not have right work plans.
5. The unplanned and non-sequential training programs these organizations have received.
The Geographic Distribution of Project:
(Baghdad – Salaihddin – Kirkuk – Karbala – Anbar – Babylon – Diyala – Sulaimaniya – Arbil – Dohuk – Nineveh – Basra – and other governorates)
Duration: 1\1\2009 – 31/12/2009
Stages of Project Preparation:
First: Rehabilitating 25 activists in the field of the institutional work and preparing an evaluation statement for the institution work (2nd month)
Second: Providing database on the organizations working in the governorates to identify organizations targeted by the project (3rd month)
Third: Holding 9 seminars in 9 governorates with the organizations targeted by the project to show the idea of the project (planning – documentation – media appearance) (4th month)
Fourth: Training on planning and documentation (5th, 6th,7th months)
Fifth: Training on (Appearance on Media Program) (8th and 9th months)
Sixth: following-up, evaluating and measuring impact of the project on the participated organizations. |
