ALMORTAQA commences activities of project community support for displaced people in Basra

ALMORTAQA’s team met a number of displaced families in Basra on Sunday to review the activities of project community support for displaced youth , which is implemented by ALMORTAQA in the province.
The project, funded by IOM, includes holding 80 psychosocial support sessions, in addition to holding 80 practical workshops designed to develop skills. An exhibition of project achievements will be held eventually to mark the conclusion of the project activities.
The number of direct beneficiaries is hoped to reach 120 young men and women from the displaced, in addition to 400 indirect beneficiaries from IDPs and host community. 450 families have been contacted so far to participate in the project.
