Almortaqa implements Project building a bakery in the camps for displaced people in Baghdad.

Almortaqa Foundation’s team began to build two bakeries for the production of bread, one is located in Al-Salam (Al-Takiah) camp, and the other in Al-Khadhraa camp (Dahaa Al-Rawi) in Baghdad .

The project is part of a partnership with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees UNHCR and the Committee of the NGO Coordination for Iraq NCCI .The project seeks to ensure the needs of the displaced for bread at subsidized prices in the two camps. The population of aforementioned camps is; 7,000 displaced people in Al-Salam (Al-Takiah) camp, and 2250 displaced people in Al-Khadhraa (Dahaa Al-Rawi) camp.
